Door Widening

Description

If adding swing clear hinges will still not give you enough door clearance, or if there is not enough room behind your door for swing clear hinges to be a solution, our construction crews can remove the existing door and frame and widen the opening.

Some choose to leave a door off, if this is in an area where this is acceptable. We then will just finish off the opening without reinstalling a door.

We can install a larger swing door after making the opening larger.

A pocket door might be a solution if this can work in your area.

We can also do a creative door by installing a sliding barn door if it works in your space.
